12 Tips on How to Get a Guy to Like You

1. Be Yourself

The  best advice on how to get a guy to like you is to: BE YOURSELF! You shouldn’t have to change yourself to get a guy to like you. Act natural and don’t put on “airs” or pretend to be something you’re not. If he’s smart, he’ll see what through an act. And if he doesn’t, and he wants to stick around, you want him to get to know the real you. This includes your true personality. If you have a competitive side, let it show (but don’t be aggressive). Don’t hide who you are just to get a man. If you are attracted to men who only like phony women than maybe it’s time to reevaluate your standards.

2. Don’t Dumb It Down

To make him want you, you don’t have to be a walking encyclopedia of knowledge, but don’t hide your intelligence to win him over. If you have a brain, then don’t hide it. Men don’t want a “yes woman” who simply agrees with everything they say. They want someone with depth, with whom they could have a serious and genuine conversation, and maybe even an occasional heated debate. When it comes to settling down, men want a woman with depth.

3. Let Your Hair Down

Summer’s here so have some fun. If you’re going on a hike in the woods, you don’t want to wear a dress and six-inch stilettos. Dress appropriately for the date. The same goes for hair and makeup. If you are planning on going swimming or fishing, you don’t need to look like you are going to the theater. Don’t be afraid to be natural if you are planning on an outdoor activity. A little lip gloss, eyeliner and mascara can go a long way.

4. Cook for Him

Guys love a girl who can cook. If you want to know how to make him want you, you can’t go wrong by making him a romantic dinner of his favorite foods. Or if it’s too soon to take such a big step, drop by his office with some homemade goodies… cookies, brownies or homemade chocolates. Surprise him with a picnic lunch. You can’t go wrong with sweets and treats when it comes to trying to win a man’s’ affections.

5. Get in Good With His Friends

We’re not saying to try to take over his “guy time.” Men don’t like a woman who is too clingy or needy. Give him space. But when you do encounter his friends, don’t act standoffish. Act like your usual charming self. Just like women, men look to their friend’s advice when it comes to dating; they’re just not as open about it as we are!
